My  approach

My approach is holistic, practical, straightforward, and lighthearted. My intention is to engage you actively and collaboratively to help you find the courage and confidence to explore and overcome your barriers. My counseling practice is influenced by Mindfulness-based, Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication, Narrative, Humanistic, Attachment, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family System (IFS).

I utilize an automated HIPAA compliant electronic health care system for my clients to complete the initial intake and the necessary office forms, online scheduling, appointment reminders, billings, payments, and all the necessary documentation.

My life

I performed my undergraduate study at Northern Arizona University earning a bachelor of science degree in Microbiology and Chemistry. I worked in the Biotechnology field for several years before I began searching for more meaning and new directions in my personal and professional life. The pursuit of overall health and wellness led me to the art of natural foods, the practice of yoga, and counseling.

my background

I come from a diverse educational, cultural and racial background and I rely on my training as a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and natural foods expert to integrate a whole-body approach in order to promote optimal health at all levels of being while embracing limitless possibilities.
