I provide an initial free 20-minute consultation, during which you can inquire about me and my approach to counseling to determine if we may be a good fit, before scheduling an appointment. I offer the 20 min consultations during the morning and early afternoon hours only.
If you are planning on using your insurance, whether I am in-network or out-of-network, I will help you understand what is covered by your insurance plan, and what your payment responsibility will be. My fees based on private pay are as follows:
The initial intake session is billed at $150 and is for a 55-minute session.
Individual counseling sessions are 55-minute and are billed at $145.
Couples counseling sessions are billed at $145 and are for a 55-minute session. Most insurance companies do not offer couples counseling as a benefit to their members.
I accept cash, checks, credit/debit and FSA/HSA cards as forms of payment at the time of service.
I have a strict cancellation policy and require a minimum of 48-hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations without 48-hours notice will result in your responsibility for my full fee, not just your co-pay.
First Choice Health Network, BlueCross BlueShield National Bluecard network, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente (In-network for Options PPO & Access PPO), Regence Blue Shield and Aetna.
Premera BlueCross, and all others not listed here.
For out of network insurance companies, the process works much the same way. You are responsible for your out of network co-pay, and I will file the claim on your behalf. Your insurance company will either reimburse you or me, and you will then be responsible for any unpaid portion of the claim. My experience with Premera has been that sessions are covered anywhere from 50-99%. Please contact your insurance company for their out-of-network coverage policies.
